Answer: People cheat when they don't know what to do on a assignment or test and feel like they are not prepared enough so they cheap. A time I cheated was when I was in 7th grade a got the password to my mom's mastery connect account. Since I was virtual and desperate to get a good grade, I logged in and wrote the answers. I ended up getting a 95 and no one ever found out but I still felt guilty about it and vowed to never cheat again.

To be honest, I think people cheat to get better at something, or that person really doesn't want to do anything. Personally, I cheat sometimes to get things over with.
