Scientists blame the increase in population as one of the causes for the surge in respiratory diseases.
mote1985 [20]

Answer:

F - False

Explanation:

The rise in respiratory diseases like allergies and asthma is probably due to changes in climatic conditions globally. The climate changes trigger and disturb the harmonized levels of air borne particles and thus increasing their numbers which is causing air pollution and ultimately affecting people. Moreover, the excessive use of energy-proofing of work places and indoors and use of antibiotics have increased the rates of susceptibility to infections.

How are George and hazel realted to Harrison
Basile [38]

In the short story "Harrison Bergeron," George and Hazel are Harrison's parents, and they live in a world that imposes equality through the use of handicaps.

What happens in the story?

In Kurt Vonnegut's short story "Harrison Bergeron," George and Hazel are Harrison's parents. They live in a futuristic world where the government tries to enforce equality by making people wear handicaps. No one is allowed to be more intelligent or beautiful, for example, than another person.

George wears a handicap to prevent him from being too intelligent. Hazel, on the other hand, is completely average, so she wears no handicaps whatsoever. Harrison wears several, since he is handsome, smart, and strong. He ends up in prison for removing them, but he escapes.

Harrison appears on TV and removes his handicaps once again. He ends up being killed by the government while his mother watches. However, since she is not smart enough to understand what just happened, she cannot even tell his father that their son has died.

With the information above in mind, we can conclude that the answer provided above is correct.

Please help a speech about whether students should be part of the council or not
Anarel [89]

Answer:

I believe students should participate in the school council.

Explanation:

Sometimes, problems can occur in school or we might want to include activities or resources that will help other students. It's a great idea to let the students themselves give new opportunities to the school. We should let the students themselves give feedback and growth to the school! Teachers might not understand what the students would want best. Overall, letting students join the council would improve the school. The imagination and brilliance of all students who attend this school is sure to make this school a better place. What do we have to lose?

What do you think the author means by the statement, "a prop is worth a thousand words"?
Elodia [21]
"A prop is worth a thousand words" would mean that a carefully selected prop could explain the situation better than to use words to explain it. The expression is similar to that of - a picture is worth a thousand words, they mean the same, basically.
