Answer:

3.33 g/cm^3

Explanation:

The equation for density(d) is d= mass(m) / volume(v)

We are given the mass but not the volume. However, the equation for volume is v = length x width x height. Therefore, all we have to do is plug in the given numbers.

v = 8 x 6 x 5 = 240 cm^3

d = 800 / 240 = 3.33 g/cm^3

Therefore, the density of this rectangular block is 3.33 grams per centimeter cubed (g/cm^3).

Is the claimant very cold in the Northeast region all year long
Vilka [71]
It really depends on where in the north west you are. In and around Maine, it's normally pretty cold; even in the summer (at least where I live) but in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New York, etc. I'm pretty sure it isn't always cold. In the summer, the thermometer can reach up to 110 degrees, but the temperature can lower all the way down to -45 degrees and possibly lower.

What is difference between paranchyma tissues and sclernchyma tissues ?
Elodia [21]

Answer:

Parenchyma cells are the abundant cells that make up ground tissues in plants.They are flat at point of contact.they have thin primary cell walls and have large vacuoles for storage of food.In leaves they are called mesophyll and are sites of photosynthesis.In other parts they are sites for respiration and protein synthesis.

Sclerenchyma cells are cells with rigid secondary cell walls.Their cell walls are hardened with lignin which is the main chemical component of wood.Mature sclerenchyma cells cannot elongate and most of them are dead.

Osmosis which is a form of passive transport
nalin [4]

Answer:

represents the flow of water through its concentration gradient, through a semi-permeable membrane.

Explanation:

This means that water flows from where it is in a higher concentration to a place where it is in a lower concentration to try to equalize the concentrations of both solutions.

Osmosis is an example of diffusion when molecules tend to be evenly distributed in space.
