So first you could need to find the x and y intercepts.

So the x intercept can be found why y is zero and vice versa.

so your graph would go through the points (0,5) and (2.5,0)

Answer

standard deviation

Explanation

Standard deviation is the measure of spread of data around the mean.

Mode is the most common value - which would be the mean in a normal-like distribution.

Median is the middle value when the data is ranked in ascending order (or descending even)

Skewness, is when the mode of the data falls behind the mean by a large margin.

An example is GDP, a few billionaires increase the number number and distort it, even though most people are of low or middle based income.

S is the midpoint of RT. R has the coordinates (-6, -1), and S has coordinates (-1, 1). Find the coordinates of T.
bekas [8.4K]
If the distance from R to S is only half then the other half is S to T. The distance between R and S is (5,2). that should give you the answer

The graph compares the ages of 100 randomly selected visitors at a beach in January and in July.
solniwko [45]
Based on the given data, the box and whisker plot is constructed and shown below.

Total number of visitors in each month = 100
If you observe the plot of January, you will find that 40 is the 2nd Quartile or the Median value. 50% of the values lie above 40.
So in January, 50%  of the visitors were over the age of 40.
50% of 100 is 50.
So,
In January 50 visitors of the beech were over the age of 40.

In July, 40 occurs at the 3rd Quartile. Only 25% of the values lie above 3rd Quartile. So In July 25% of the visitors were over the age of 40.
25% of 100 is 25.
So,
In July 25 visitors of the beech were over the age of 40.

Thus, in January, there were 25 more visitors over the age of 40 who visited the beech than in July

11. Monthly sales revenue, S (in $), and monthly advertising expenditure, A (in $), are modelled by the linear relation, S = 900
Elenna [48]

We are to answer the questions given the sales and advertisement function

The answers are given below

Given:

S = 9000 + 12A

Where,

S = Monthly sales revenue

A = monthly advertising expenditure

a. If the firm does not spend on advertisement

S = 9000 + 12A

Where,

A = 0

S = 9000 + 12A

S = 9000 + 12(0)

S = $9000

b. If the firm spends $800 on advertising one month

S = 9000 + 12A

= 9000 + 12(800)

= 9000 + 9600

= 18,600

S = $18,600

c. S = 9000 + 12A

When

S = $15,000

15,000 = 9000 + 12A

15000 - 9000 = 12A

6000 = 12A

A = 6000/12

= 500

A = $500

d. If the firm increases monthly expenditure on advertising by $1

If A increases to $501

S = 9000 + 12A

= 9000 + 12(501)

= 9000 + 6,012

= 15,012

S increases to $15,012
