Sunny_sXe [5.5K]

B. A reporter tries to piece together the truth as she listens to three different plane-crash survivors tell their stories.

A frame narrative is a story within a story. In this example, the larger story is the reporter trying to figure out what happened in the plane crash and her struggle to get accurate details. The story within the story are the different accounts of the plane-crash survivors. Each of the survivors tells his/her own story about the crash.

In the 1920s there was a social revolution toward what kind of values?
lord [1]

A. Youthful

The 1920s were known as the Roaring Twenties.  This was a time when there was much change with regard to society/culture.  Jazz, fashion, and dance were embraced, but this was mainly done by the younger generations; as such, the music (jazz), fashion, and dance were all geared toward the youth and all three were seen as rebellious as they ran counter to what had been the status quo.

What can be related works for discussion on the hunger games first book ? (not movie ) thank you
Oduvanchick [21]
The Lord of the Flies would be a good book to discuss comparison-wise with the Hunger Games. In both instances there are kids fighting for their lives in the worth of possible circumstances, but in one the kids are fighting against nature, while in the other they are fighting against their government. Ultimately, kids end up killing each other in both books, but what drives the characters to ultimately win and/or survive? and in each book, is survival deemed by which traits?
