Please help me with this question thankyou.
Ratling [72]

Since the budget is 4500 dollars per month, and every month is made of 4 weeks, the weekly budget is

\dfrac{4500}{4} = 1125\$

We know that Mr Gleason takes home 900$ per week, so he almost make the whole budget: there are only 1125 - 900 = 225 \$ left.

If Mrs Gleason  brings home 9 dollars per hour, she'll have to work

\dfrac{225}{9} = 25 hours per week.

A basketball team scores 37 points in one quarter is the number 37 prime or composite show your work
Andrews [41]

Answer: Prime

Step-by-step explanation: To tell if 37 is a prime number or a composite number, begin by finding the factors of 37.

To find the factors of 37, begin by dividing 37 by 1 which gives us 37. This means that 1 and 37 are factors.

Notice however that 37 is not divisible by any other number except 37. When we divide 37 by 37 we get 1. Since 37 and 1 are repeat factors, the only factors of 37 are 1 and 37.

When there are only two factors of a number, we call the number prime.

oee [108]

Answer:

13

Step-by-step explanation:

using c^2 = a^2 + b^2

whereas c is the length of the ladder

a is the top of the ladder

b is the distance from building

so c^2 = 12^2 + 5^2 = 144 + 25 = 169

c = 13

Find the distance between the two points rounding to the nearest tenth (if necessary).
Genrish500 [490]

Answer:

13 units

Step-by-step explanation:

(-1,5) and (4, -7)

To find the distance of two points, we use the distance formula:

d = \sqrt{(x_{2}-x_1)^2 + (y_2-y_1)^2 }

Let's plug in what we know.

d = \sqrt{(4 - (-1))^2 + (-7 - 5)^2 }

Evaluate the double negative.

d = \sqrt{(4 +1))^2 + (-7 - 5)^2 }

Evaluate the parentheses.

d = \sqrt{(5)^2 + (-12)^2 }

Evaluate the exponents.

d = \sqrt{(25) + (144) }

Add.

d = \sqrt{(169) }

Evaluate the square root.

d = 13

13 units

Hope this helps!
