Graph y= –3x+4 k12
im practing for a test can i get this in picture form
Svetradugi [14.3K]

Figure represented the line y = -3x+4

Step-by-step explanation:

Given y=-3x+4 is equation of line

In order to graph the line, we need atleast two points

Now, When x = 0, y=?

y = -3x+4

y = -3(0) +4

y = 4

Point we get A(0,4)

Now, When x = 1, y=?

y = -3x+4

y = -3(1)+4

y = -3+4 = 1

Point we get B(1,1)

On graph, Locate points A(0,4) and B(1,1)

Draw a line passing through both of the points at once.

Figure is shown for your reference.

Among the eighth-graders in Micheal's school, 70% have siblings. The eighth-grade class is 5/6 the size of the seventh-grade cla
sladkih [1.3K]

OK so if 70% of students in 8th grade have siblings and 112 8th graders have siblings, then:

0.7(total 8th graders) = 112

total 8th graders = 112/0.7

total 8th graders = 160

And since the number of 8th graders is 5/6 the size of the 7th grade class:

5/6(7th grade class) = 160

5(7th grade class) = 960

7th grade class = 192.

Find a ⋅ b. a = <5, 2>, b = <4, 5>
cestrela7 [59]

Answer:

 30

Step-by-step explanation:

For a = <xa, ya> and b = <xb, yb>, the dot product is the sum of products ...

 a·b = (xa)(xb) + (ya)(yb)

Substituting the given information, you have ...

 a·b = 5·4 + 2·5 = 20 + 10

 a·b = 30

_____

Some graphing calculators can do such math. There are also dot product calculators available on the Internet. If you have quite a few of these to calculate, you can put the appropriate formula into a spreadsheet.
