How does the carrying capacity of the ecosystem for the white footed mouse respond to the changes in the amount of parasites? Co
9966 [12]

Answer:

See the answer below

Explanation:

The carrying capacity of the ecosystem for the white-footed mouse reduced in response to the changes in the amount of worm infected mice in the population.

The carrying capacity of an ecosystem for a particular population of organisms is the maximum number of organisms the ecosystem can support based on the resources it has.

The ideal carrying capacity of the ecosystem for the white-footed mouse oscillates between 36 to 40 in graph 1. The carrying capacity range reduced in graph 2 from 36 - 40 to 30 - 36 as a result of changes made to the number of mice infected with parasitic worms in the population of the animal.

Thus, the introduction of more worm-infected mice into the population probably put more pressure on the ecosystem resources thereby reducing the carrying capacity.

Many organelles contribute to the proper functioning of eukaryotic cells. Identify and describe four organelles that contribute
Hatshy [7]

Answer:

The four organelles that contribute to the synthesis, transport, packaging, and export of proteins to the extracellular environment are Nucleus, RIBOSOMES, rough endoplasmic recticulum and Golgi apparathus.

Explanation:

The nucleus is the organelle that produced RIBOSOMES.

RIBOSOMES are organelles responsible for protein synthesis production of proteins.

The protein produced by the RIBOSOMES are then gathered in the rough endoplasmic recticulum . It then export and transport the protein to Golgi apparatus. The Golgi apparatus modifies and package the protein.

Can someone please describe the role of fermentation in maintaining ATP and NAD+ levels? I cant fully grasp the concept. Answer
Solnce55 [7]
Fermentation is the process by which a carbohydrate molecule is broken down into alcohol and carbon dioxide in the absence of oxygen. During this process, two molecules of ATP is produced. In the absence of oxygen, pyruvate formed from glycolysis will undergo fermentation process. During the process of fermentation, NADH from glycolysis will be converted back to NAD+. This is necessary in order for glycolysis to continue. Thus, fermentation regenerate more NAD+ and only a few molecule of ATP.

Why do the body structures of some species support Darwin’s theories?
geniusboy [140]
The Body Structures of some species support Darwin's Theories because of fossil records, similarities in DNA and protein sequences between organisms, homologous and vestigial body structures, and similarities in early development. Also, they have similar limbs.

I hope this helps. C:
