The perimeter is the length of the outside edge. Imagine you start walking around the edge of that shape, starting in the bottom left corner and walking up first.

You’d walk 9 yd, turn right walk 19 yd, turn right walk 9 yd, turn right walk 4 yd, turn right walk 6 yd, turn left walk 11 yd, turn left walk 6 yd, turn right walk 4 yd and be back to where you started.

How far did you walk?

9+19+9+4+6+11+6+4 = 68 yds

Drupady [299]

Area: 60

Explanation: we know the height of the square therefore we know all of its dimensions. We can multiply 3x2 to get the height, which is 6. And add 3 to 7 to get the length, which is 10.

The formula for area is A=wl

A=6(10)

A=60

Snezhnost [94]

Answer:

m = 1/9

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

x = 10

y = 8

x1 = 1

y1 = 9

Solution:

y - y1 = m ( x - x1 )

9 - 8 = m ( 10 - 1 )

1 = 9m

m = 1/9

The length of one side of a square city block is 462 meters. what is the perimeter of the block
trapecia [35]
The perimeter of any shape is just what you get when you add up all of the side lengths. We know that one side is 462 meters, and since a square has four equal sides, we can just mulitply 462 × 4 to get our perimeter, 1,848 meters.

Mice21 [21]
The equation for surface area is: A= \pi r(r+ \sqrt{h^2+r^2}. To get r, you must use Pythagorean theorem. r is found to be 45. This means after you plug it in, you get about 13571.68
