If a firm finds that increases in output lead to increases in long-run average total cost, then it must be experiencing ________
Luba_88 [7]

Answer:

The correct option is;

C diseconomies of scale; coordination problems

Step-by-step explanation:

Dis-economies of scale is in effect where the average cost of production of  firm increases as it increases its inputs towards producing more. That is as the production rate increases, the unit cost of production also increases

Increase in the mean cost of production as the production rate increases is an indication of diminishing returns to increasing scale of production

Dis-economies of scale can be caused by Coordination problems

Difficulties in Co-ordination and monitoring . Where there is growth, the monitoring and coordination requirements becomes more complex, there is also the tendency for increased inefficiency and increase in average cost as the firm expands

8.) Jim eats (r) apples and Maria eats 3 times as
mash [69]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

if Jim eats r apples and Maria eats 3times as Jim then we can represent the number of times Maria eats as 3r

Together, the both eat 96 apples that is:

r + 3r = 96 apples - this is the equation for this situation.

Solving further

r + 3r = 96apples

4r = 96 apples (divide through the equation by 4)

4/4 r = 96/4 apples

Then

r = 24 apples

Which means that Jim eats 24 apples while Maria eats 3 * 24 apples = 72 apples.

The dimensions of a rectangular prism are shown below:
Evgen [1.6K]

ok so first we find the volume of the prism which is just LWH which means u multiply them all so you would get 1 1/2 x 1 x 2 1/2 which equals 3.75.

Then we find out the small cube which is 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 which equals 2.25

Then you divide 3.75 by 2.25

So 1.67 small cubes can fit in the rectangular prism

so for part B just multiply the small cube volume by 1.67 and you will get approximently 3.75
