Not my specific community, but John Lewis. He marched alongside civil rights protestors during the Selma March with MLK Jr. Up until his dying day as a senator, he mentored, advocated, and pushed for forward momentum for equal rights and determined it was never enough for him. He is a true hero across all communities who made an impact everywhere. Bless his resting soul.
