Answer:

6 1/6 (i think )

substitute 4 in for a, -5 for b and -7 for c

(4+ 2 * - 7 * - 5)/3 * 4

3*4 = 12

4+2 * - 7 * - 5) / 12

-7 * - 5 = 35 (same sign so positive)

(4+ 2* 35)/12

2*35 = 70 and 70+4 = 74.

74/12 is what we have, and we can simplify this to 37/6 by dividing both the numerator and denominator by 2. now we convert to mixed fraction and get 6 1/6.

Answer:

The radius is 7

The diameter is 14

The circumference is 43.98 (if they want it simplified put 44)

Step-by-step explanation:

1.The radius is already given in the picture so the answer is 7

2.To find the diameter, multiply the radius by two. 7 times 2=14

3.The formula for circumference is C=2\pir. Remove the r and replace it with the number 7.  Plug 2\pi7 into your calculator and you will get 43.98

Avi's pet hamster Chubby loves to run in his hamster wheel. During one "race", Avi counts 100 rotations of the wheel. She wants
Fantom [35]
Answer: 800pi inches

=======================================

Explanation:

The formula to find the circumference of a circle is
C = pi*d
where
C = distance around the circle (aka circumference)
pi = 3.14 approximately
d = diameter

We know that the diameter of the wheel is d = 8, so
C = pi*d
C = pi*8
C = 8pi
is the circumference of the wheel

One full rotation will have the wheel cover a distance of 8pi inches. Imagine that wet paint is on the outer surface of the wheel. If the wheel is rolled out in a straight line, then the wet paint would cover a linear distance of 8pi inches along the flat ground. This is one full rotation, so 100 rotations covers 100*8pi = 800pi inches

Note: if we use pi = 3.14 as the approximation, then the hamster ran approximately 800*pi = 800*3.14 = 2512 inches if the wheel could move

Answer:

B ( 3.7 , -1.1)

Step-by-step explanation:

<h3>Given</h3><h3>x + y = 2.6.......equation 1</h3>

y = 3x - 12.2.......equation 2

Putting equation 2 I. equation 1

x + 3x - 12.2 = 2.6

4x = 2.6 + 12.2

4x = 14.8

Therefore x = 3.7

Now

y = 3 * 3.7 - 12.2

= 11.1 - 12.2

= -1.1
