1. Find the surface area for the given prism. (11
8 in.
10 in.
14 in,
DedPeter [7]

Answer:

SA = 664 square inches

Step-by-step explanation:

Surface area is the area of all the sides added together. A prism has six sides.

Take the dimensions and change them so each of the numbers are multiplied with the others.

14 * 10 * 8

14 * 10 = 140

14 * 8 = 112

10 * 8 = 80

Multiply each answer by 2 because there are two sides that have the same dimensions.

14 * 10 = 140 * 2 = 280

14 * 8 = 112 * 2 = 224

10 * 8 = 80 * 2 = 160

Add the areas together.

280 + 224 + 160 = 664

SA = 664 square inches

Maurinko [17]
Ive never seen a question lie this before
Since the first figure is a square I guess it stand for x^2
then we have -2x + 3x = x ( the 2 stets of rectangles)
and finally -3 + 1 = - 2
So i am presuming its x^2 + x - 2

Based on the data in the two-way table, what is the probability that a person weighs 120 pounds, given that he or she consumes 2
sdas [7]
In the question "Based on the data in the two-way table, what is the probability that a person weighs 120 pounds, given that he or she consumes 2,000 to 2,500 calories per day?" The probability of an event, say A given another event, say B is given by n(A and B) / n(B). Thus the probability that a person weighs 120 pounds, given that he or she consumes 2,000 to 2,500 calories per day is given by number of persons that weigh 120 pounds and consume 2,000 to 2,500 calories per day / number of persons that consume 2,000 to 2,500 calories per day. From the table, the number of persons that weigh 120 pounds and consume 2,000 to 2,500 calories per day is 10 while the number of persons that consume 2,000 to 2,500 calories per day is 110. Therefore, the required probability is 10 / 110 = 1 / 11
