artcher [175]
<span>Sponges have cellular-level organization, meaning that that their cells are specialized so that different cells perform different functions, but similar cells are not organized into tissues and bodies are a sort of loose aggregation of different kinds of cells. What effect might obesity have on blood pressure? Does obesity alone cause a person to be at risk for high blood pressure? What
Ugo [173]

Answer:

obesity increases blood pressure

Explanation:

This is because the high fat percentage in the body has lead to a build up of fat on the inside of arteries and this makes them thinner. the heart has to pump harder to get the blood around the body and through these, now smaller arteries. therefore yes having diabetes does increase blood pressure.

What might happen if some lysosomal enzymes are absent?
murzikaleks [220]

Answer:

Explanation:

The main fuction of lysosomal enzymes like lipases ,proteases, carbohydrases is to hydrolyse/digest various unwanted material in the cell. And sometimes to digest some nutrient in the cell.

These enzymes are capable of digesting carbohydrates, proteins, lipids and nucleic acids. Lysosomal enzymes are produced by a memberane bound cell organel called lysosome.

WHAT IF LYSOSOMAL ENZYMES ARE ABSENT:

==> If lysosomal enzymes are absent then build up of various unwanted substances increase to a abnormal level, which may increase toxicity in the cell.

==>build up of various dead or unwated cells in the body will increase, since lysosome have the capacity to digest its own cell.

==> absence of lysosome will will cause the cells to starve, since most of the nutrients in the cells are digested by lysosome enzyme.

==> Can cause a high risk of disease, since lysosome digest its own cell if it is infected with some microbial activity.
