You are assigned to give a 3-minute talk in front of the class but you are shy. What should you do?​

Well first of all write out what you’re going to say and try and memorize it doing this will help you be less nervous and less scattered also think about who you’re talking in front of or any of them your friends or if you wanna express your amount of worry to the teacher and they might help you by being engaged and focused on the project or task at hand will help the most

First of all, understand that you are not the only one doing this project so everyone is in the same position (i’m assuming everyone got assigned this assignment). Next write out and memorize bullet points with information included in your speech. If you are allowed a paper, bring the bullet points. Don’t read word for word off of a paper that is awkward and less professional. Also make sure to look at your class however you don’t have to make eye contact with anyone, basically look right over your classmates heads and it looks like you are looking into the crowd however you’re really just looking above their heads. Try to avoid looking at your teacher for the whole time. Also, if you make a mistake it’s not a big deal nobody will remember your mistake in a weeks time so don’t beat yourself up about it. Don’t stress too much you will do great! Good luck!
