In order to write a short paragraph to encourage people not to engage in rhino poaching, the following key details must be included:

  • Many rhino species are critically endangered, threatened, or vulnerable
  • Continuous poaching would lead to their extinction
  • Their extinction could affect humanity directly or indirectly because they occupy a niche in the ecosystem
  • poaching of any animal is actually against the law in most countries

Due to the reasons listed above and even more, rhino poaching should naturally be discouraged due to the bad consequences that may result from the action.

All these and more would enable one to write a short paragraph to encourage people not to engage in rhino poaching.

Answer:

Why should we not poach rhinos?

Rhino poaching is being driven by the demand for rhino horn in Asian countries, particularly China and Viet Nam. ... Poachers are often armed with guns themselves, making them very dangerous for the anti-poaching teams who put their lives on the line to protect rhinos.

Explanation: We need this to become a law because rhinos have became a very endangered species.

The negative effects of tilling include _____. A increased soil erosion B reduced soil drainage C reduced need for energy input
Vikentia [17]

Answer:

A

Explanation:

Tilling agitates the topsoil and removes ‘unnecessary’ vegetation so the main crop can grow without competition. Tilling improves soil aeration and drainage for plants to grow well.  Nonetheless, it can lead to other consequences such as soil erosion because it loosens the soil and makes it easy to be carried away by wind and water.

Explain why a lock and key are used to describe the way in which an enzyme works. Describe any ways in which the
LiRa [457]
The lock an key analogy is used because each enzyme has specific substrates that fit into it. This is like how locks only work with a specific key. The enzyme is the lock and the substrates are the key.
2
This analogy is not perfect because there are often multiple substrates for each enzyme reaction. It only takes one key to turn the lock. The reaction is also taking place between the substrates themselves and not the enzyme. In the lock and key analogy, the lock is affected by the key, but in an enzyme reaction, the substrates are affected by the enzyme.
