Answer:

A Gene has alleles for its representation of a trait.

Explanation:

A gene represents a trait. A gene has alleles. Like in blood group there are ABO genes for blood group.

AB are codominant and O is recessive.

If a gene is recessive and upon its coexistence with dominant gene , its trait will not be shown in an organism. If a gene is dominant, its trait will be shown in the organism.

Aftet leaving the small intestine, where does undigested waste travel to and what happens there?
iris [78.8K]

After the food moves through the small intestine it enters the large intestine. The large intestine is named for the diameter of the cavity and not for the length. It is actually much shorter than the small intestine. The role of the large intestine is to remove any extra water from the digested material before it is finally excreted.

Which process do you think offers a greater chance of nondisjunction—mitosis or meiosis? explain your answer
mario62 [17]
Answer: Nondisjunction means that a pair of homologous chromosomes has failed to separate or segregate at anaphase so that both chromosomes of the pair pass to the same daughter cell. This probably occurs most commonly in meiosis, but it may occur in mitosis to produce a mosaic individual.
