The major religions spread because of:

 • war
 • government support

Christianity arguably would not be as big as it is now if not for:

 • War - the European Christians conquering other countries in war, colonizing them and then imposing Christianity.
 • government support - the Romans made Christianity the official religion of the empire which allowed it to conquer Europe

Islam would not be as big as it is now is not for:

 • War - the Islamic conquests after the death of Muhammed spread Islam far and wide
 • government support - countries that have a majority of Muslims tend to make it their state religion which ensures that Islam spreads

Buddhism also would not be as big as it is today if not for:

 • government support - the Chinese and Indian (Ashoka the Great) emperors that spread Buddhism ensured that it would be adopted far and wide by giving it their seal of approval

In conclusion, the big religions of today are only big because they were forced upon a lot of people. The local religions stood no chance as their people simply weren't strong enough to resist these larger religions.

Zigmanuir [339]

Producers are able to convert light and heat energy into chemical energy, which is used for food is the role of glucose play during photosynthesis.

Glucose is employed by plants for energy and to form other substances like cellulose and starch. Cellulose is employed in building cell walls.

During photosynthesis, plants trap light energy with their leaves. Plants use the energy of the sun to vary water and CO2 into a sugar called glucose.

What is the role of glucose in photosynthesis and respiration?

 • Photosynthesis converts CO2 and water into oxygen and glucose. Glucose is employed as food by the plant and oxygen may be a by-product.

 • Cellular respiration converts oxygen and glucose into water and CO2. Water and CO2 are by-products and ATP is energy that's transformed from the method.

Therefore option A is correct, glucose plays a role as Producers are able to convert light and heat energy into chemical energy, which is used for food.
