The answer is B) 6.25 x 104 cm3.

The volume of the box (V) with length l, width w, and height h is:
V = l * w * h

We have:
l = 25 cm
h = 25 cm
w = 1 m

However, units are not the same, and we first need to convert meters to centimeters. Since 1 m = 100 cm, then w = 100 cm.

So, the volume of the box is:
V = 25 cm * 25 cm * 100 cm
V = 62,500 cm³
V = 6.25 * 10,000 cm³
V = 6.25 × 10⁴ cm³

According to charles' law, the volume of a fixed amount of gas is directly proportional to
melomori [17]
The correct answer is "absolute temperature".

In fact, Charle's law states that, for a fixed amount of gas kept at constant pressure, the ratio between the volume of the gas V and its absolute temperature T is constant:
\frac{V}{T}=k

And this equation can be also read as: when V changes, T changes by the same proportion, so this means that the volume V is directly proportional to the absolute temperature T of the gas.

The steel pipe is filled with concrete and subjected to a compressive force of 80 kn. determine the average normal stress in the
Gnoma [55]
The first thing you should do in this case is to realize that you have two different materials.
First we make a free body diagram.
Then, we use the definitions of mechanics to find the forces.
Finally we substitute the values to find the normal stress due to the load.
Solution attached.

Six light bulbs are connected in series with a 9.0 volt battery. What is the voltage across each bulb?
Anestetic [448]
Voltage adds in a series and the amount of voltage dropped due to each resistor in a circuit (the light bulbs are resistors) depends on the resistance of each.

Assuming equal resistance of each light bulb, the voltage dropped on each is equal and should add up to 9V (Kirchoff's Rules).

So 9V/6 = 1.5V per light bulb.
