Answer:

coordinates of A are (11/2, -3/2)

Step-by-step explanation:

midpoint = M(5, −4)

start point = A(6, 1)

endpoint = B(x, y)

                                      equation :

x =    m1 × x2 + m2 × x1                         y =  m1 × y2 + m2 × y1

       _____________                                 _____________

              m1 + m2                                             m1 + m2

x =  (1 × 6) + (1 × 5)                                    y=  (1 × 1) + (1 × -4)

  _____________                                      ____________

          1 + 1                                                           1 + 1

x = (6+5 )/ 2 = 11 / 2                                  y = (1+(-4))/2+(1-4)/2 = -3/2

                                ∴coordinates of A are (11/2, -3/2)

PLEASE HELP ITS URGENT how can you use an equation to make a prediction from a pattern?
allochka39001 [22]
An equation can be used to predict values from a pattern by merely substituting any value to determine the equivalent value. An example is the geometric series which has a standard equation of an = a1 * r^(n-1) and is used to predict the nth term of the series

PLEASE ANSWER CORRECTLY, I WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST <3 THANKS IN ADVANCE!
guajiro [1.7K]

Answer:

1 : 15

2: 12

3: 52

4: 27.3

Step-by-step explanation:

For #1:

if line m and n are perpendicular then they will create right angles

Right angles have a measure of 90 degrees

That being said we can find the measure of the missing angle by subtracting the measure of the known angle (75) from 90

so k = 90 - 75

90 - 75 = 15

Hence k = 15.

For #3 ( very similar to #1, only difference is the values of the angles )

so R = 90 - 38

90 - 38 = 52

Hence, R = 52

For #2 and #4

Complementary angles have a sum of 90°

So like the previous questions we can find the measure of the missing angle by subtract the measure of the given angle from 90

∠V = 90 - 78

90 - 78 = 12

Hence ∠V = 12

∠Y = 90 - 62.7

90 - 62.7 = 27.3

Hence ∠Y = 27.3
