Base angles in an isosceles triangle, assuming the base is the one that does not match any other side, are equal.

You are told one of them on the 1st triangle. 55º.

So you can assume the other one will also be 55º.

Internal angles in a triangle add up to 180º.

Subtract the sum of both angles (55+55=110) from 180 and you will get the third one (180-110=70).

This 70º angle is vertically opposite to one of the base angles of the other isosceles triangle. Knowing vertically opposite angles are equal, then the other angle must be also 70º.

Now you have one of the base angles for the second isosceles triangle!

Again, knowing that base angles in an isosceles triangle are equal, x must be equal to 70º.
