Answer: 495

Step-by-step explanation:

nCr = n!/(n-r)!r!

12C4 = 12!/(12-4)!4!

=12!/8!4!

= 12 ×11×10×9×8! / 8!4!

8! at the numerator will cancel that of denominator

= 12×11×10×9 / 4!

=11880/4×3×2

=11880/24

=495

Therefore; 12C4 = 495

Tara's science project was graded based on creativity, accuracy, and effort. If she received a 9.4 for each of the three citeria
Ivan

Answer:

Tara's total score = 28.2

Step-by-step explanation:

We are told that her science project was graded based on creativity, accuracy, and effort.

Now, she received a score of 9.4 for each of these criteria.

Thus;

Score for creativity = 9.4

Score for accuracy = 9.4

Score for effort = 9.4

So,

total score = 9.4 + 9.4 + 9.4 = 28.2

The perimeter of an equilateral triangle is 6 cm more than the perimeter of a square. The length of a side of the square is 3 cm
yan [13]
3t=4s+5          (s=side of square, t= side of triangle)

s=t-3, t=s+3, using this value for t in the first equation gives us:

3(s+3)=4s+5

3s+9=4s+5

-s=-4

s=4

so the side length of the square is 4cm and the area of a square is just s^2

A=16cm^2
