Answer:

The correct answer is polar region.

Explanation:

Polar bears live in the coldest areas of the world.

Their home is the Arctic and there the temperatures are very low and the water is very cold.

We will not find a polar bear inhabiting a place where human beings live, unless they are in captivity, where they tend to adapt to warmer climates.

These animals have an average life of 25 years and usually move throughout their entire habitat, although this does not happen with the females, who are more selective of the place where they are going to settle, because they seek protection for their cubs. That is why its reproduction is difficult.

Which type of health insurance plan has contracts with selected physicians and specialists to provide medical services?
Mekhanik [1.2K]
I would say HMO. The reason is it says SELECTED physicians. An HMO is an in network where you can only go to certain doctors and facilities. In return the doctors receive a little less than what they would originally be paid by other insurances. PPO's you can go to any doctor you want, however the insurance may not cover as much. Hope this helped. I would go with HMO.

Explain why an apple is healthy.

No fake answers please thanks
zavuch27 [327]
The phytonutrients in apples can help you regulate your blood sugar. Recent research has shown that apple polyphenols can help prevent spikes in blood sugar through a variety of mechanisms. Flavonoids like quercetin found in apples can inhibit enzymes like alpha-amylase and alpha-glucosidase. Since these enzymes are involved in the breakdown of complex carbohydrates into simple sugars, your blood sugar has fewer simple sugars to deal with when these enzymes are inhibited. In addition, the polyphenols in apple have been shown to lessen absorption of glucose from the digestive tract; to stimulate the beta cells of the pancreas to secrete insulin; and to increase uptake of glucose from the blood via stimulation of insulin receptors. All of these mechanisms triggered by apple polyphenols can make it easier for you to regulate your blood sugar.
