The correct answer is C. dermatologist.

A secondary care provider does not have first contact with a patient. All other options would be a primary (first) care provider as they are seen first. A nurse practitioner and a physician would refer a patient on to a secondary care provider for more specialist care. Secondary care providers tend to be specialists or consultants relating to specific health issues and concerns.

Why does the prison doctor endeavor not to know the crimes his patients have committed? Do you think this is wise? Why or why no
Black_prince [1.1K]
Doctors who work in prisons are required to treat all inmates with the same care and respect, regardless of the crime. It is a wise choice to not know the crimes, as knowing them could lead to bias and distract the doctor from his job.

Which of the following is NOT a reason why exercise routines should have clearly stated goals?
enot [183]
The option that isn’t a habit of healthy goal setting is D. Goal allow individuals to track their progress against others.

Your personal health is based on you as a person, not the records or plans of others. While there is a basic set line of what is healthy and what isn’t, each and every individual has different needs to achieve their best self. Comparing oneself to others not only lowers ones self esteem and empowerment, but isn’t healthy since someone else’s life isn’t applicable to yours. You are in charge of your own health and shouldn’t feel obliged to follow someone else’s plan or goals.

I hope this helps! :)

Each year around 358,000 women die because of complications during pregnancy or childbirth and many more encounter serious problems (WHO, 2012). The vast majority of these problems occur in low-income countries, where poverty increases sickness and reduces access to care. These deaths occur within a context of gender-based, economic, political and cultural discrimination and neglect of women’s right to equal status and equitable access to services. Nearly all of these deaths are preventable because the majority of deaths are caused by hemorrhages, sepsis, hypertensive disorders, prolonged or obstructed labor, and unsafe abortions (Rosenfield, & Maine, 1985).
