What agency has often been attacked by Congress and often had its policies watered down by the George W. Bush administration?
m_a_m_a [10]

Answer:

The agency that has often been attacked by Congress and often had its policies watered down by the George W. Bush administration was the Environmental Protection Agency.

Explanation:

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is the government agency responsible for health and the environment in the United States.

EPA was established by President Richard Nixon on December 2, 1970. In July 1970, the establishment was approved by the public as demand for cleaner water, air and land following environmental disasters such as the 1969 Cuyahoga River fire. Prior to the establishment of the EPA, the US government did not have structured instruments to address pollution that is hazardous to human health and the environment.

In the course of Donald Trump's presidency, who appears as a “climate skeptic” and announced in the election campaign to reduce environmental protection measures, the EPA was and is fundamentally changed to a business-friendly authority.

Oksana_A [137]

Answer:

Nathan's difficulty reflects negative transfer.

Explanation:

Negative transfer is the interference of previous knowledge in something you are trying to learn now. It commonly happens when you've learned and practiced something for a long time, to the point it becomes an automatic action or response. For instance, people who are used to driving manual cars find it difficult to drive automatic ones because their natural reaction to shifting gears are no longer needed. That is the case with Nathan. His previous learning of golf is now obstructing the new learning. He is so accustomed to swinging the golf club a certain way that he ends up swinging the bat the same way.

Amiraneli [1.4K]

If we define extrasensory perception as the ability to gain information by some means other than the ordinary senses, It is possible that in certain circumstances and certain people could do that. However, I don't think that all people can develop this ability without sensory input. I believe that there are some people gifted with this talent or ability. For example there were cases in which the police force called a medium to help them solve crimes and the information that they received was genuine.
