The following are neutral salts: NANO3, BaBr2 AND Ba[OH]2.
Neutral salts are those salts that are formed when a strong base react with a strong acid. In those neutralization reactions, the base completely neutralize the acid to form a neutral salts.

The following are neutral salts: NANO3, BaBr2, AND Ba[OH]2.

Further Explanation

Salt is an ionic compound consisting of positive ions (cations) and negative ions (anions), thus forming neutral (without charged) compounds. The most common and widely used salt is NaCl salt, a white crystalline solid.

Salt is formed as a result of acid and base reactions. Salt that is hydrolyzed and forms hydroxide ions when dissolved in water is called base salt. Salt that is hydrolyzed and forms hydronium ions in water is called an acid salt. Neutral salt is salt that is neither acid salt nor basic salt.

Salts derived from strong acids and strong bases are usually stable and odorless, while salts formed from weak acids or weak bases have more odor.

Salt hydrolysis only occurs IF one or both of the components of the salt are weak acids and or weak bases.

The salt solution is a solution obtained from the results of acid and base reactions.

The properties of salt, as follows:

 • Able to conduct electric current,
 • does not change the color of litmus red or blue.
 • If it is formed from strong acids and weak bases, then the salt will be acidic. and conversely, if formed from weak acids and strong bases, the salt will be alkaline.
 • When formed from strong acids and strong bases, the salt will be neutral, for example, table salt (NaCl).
 • Has a pH of 7

victus00 [196]
First, we apply the law of conservation of mass which states that the total mass in a system remains constant.
Therefore, there must be 5.00 g of sulfur and 4.99 g of oxygen in the product. Now, we determine the mass percentage using:

Mass % = (mass of sulfur x 100) / total mass of compound

Mass % = (5 * 100) / (5 + 4.99)

Mass % = 50.05%

The product contains 50.05% sulfur by mass.

Determine the molar mass of Ze(NO3)2. (Ze=55.85 N=14.01 O=16.00) *
Help
Arturiano [62]

Answer:

179.87 g/mol

Explanation:

First you need to determine the number of each elements in the molecule. This information comes from the molecular formula.

Ze(NO3)2 tells us that there is 1 Ze atom and 2 NO3 anions per molecule. each NO3 anion will have 1 nitrogen and 3 oxygens. Due to that, one molecule of Ze(NO3)2 will have 1 atom of Ze, 2 atoms of nitrogen (N), and 6 atoms of oxygen (O).

Next you need to add all of the individual atom's molar masses to get the over all molar masses. The molar masses of each element is in the question but it can also be found on the periodic table.

molar mass of Ze(NO3)2 = 55.85g/mol + (14.01g/mol*2) + (16.00g/mol*6)

molar mass of Ze(NO3)2 = 179.87 g/mol

I hope this helps.

How can toxicant absorption be reduced after exposure to the skin? How can absorption be reduced for orally consumed chemicals?
zmey [24]

Answer:

The toxicant absorbtion can be reduced after exposure to the skin the surrounding clothing shoes or gloves should be removed or torn off than the part of the body which was exposured to the toxicant should be immediatly washed using clean running water for a while, with cold shower being the most recommended splashing method. In case of absorption for orally consumed chemicals should check on any remaining toxicant residue and be removed from the mouth. Vomiting should be induced to patients that are still conscious by providing them with liquids that can provoke vomiting. This will help in removing the toxicant in the intestinal and reduce their effect. Gastric lavage should then be done to induce diarrhea.

At a certain temperature, 0.900 mol of SO3 is placed in a 2.00-L container.
Goryan [66]

Answer:

Kc = 2.34 mol*L

Explanation:

The calculation of the Kc of a reaction is performed using the values of the concentrations of the participants in the equilibrium.

A + B ⇄ C + D

Kc = [C] * [D] / [A] * [B]

According to the reaction

Kc = [SO2]^2 * [O2]^2 / [SO3]^2

Knowing the 0.900 mol of SO3 is placed in a 2.00-L it means we have a 0.450 mol/L of SO3

0.450 --> 0 + 0 (Beginning of the reaction)

0.260 --> 0.260 + 0.130 (During the reaction)

0.190 --> 0.260 + 0.130 (Equilibrium of the reaction)

Kc = [0.260]^2 + [0.130]^2 / [0.190]^2

Kc = 2.34 mol*L
