4k-2z=8

Move -2z to the other side. Sign changes from -2z to + 2z

4k-2z+2z= 8+2z

4k= 8+2z

Divide by 4 for 4k and 8+2z

4k/4= 8/4+ 2z/4

k= 2 +1/2z

Answer: k= 2 +1/2z

Answer:

k = 2 + (1/2)z

Step-by-step explanation:

1) Isolate 4k by adding 2z to both sides:  4k = 8 + 2z

2) Divide all three terms by 4:                      k = 2 + (1/2)z

Studentka2010 [4]
I’m not sure but i think 66 hours because both pumps must fill half of the pool which would split the timing for each which would make pump 1 take 36 hours to fill half and pump two take 30 hours to fill the rest. when you add these hours it equals 66. i hope i helped :)
