To find the interquartile range you need to ____the upper and lower quartile values.
Blababa [14]

Answer:

The correct options are: Interquartile ranges are not significantly impacted by outliers. Lower and upper quartiles are needed to find the interquartile range. The data values should be listed in order before trying to find the interquartile range. The option Subtract the lowest and highest values to find the interquartile range is incorrect because the difference between lowest and highest values will give us range. The option A small interquartile range means the data is spread far away from the median is incorrect because a small interquartile means data is nor spread far away from the median

Vilka [71]
<span>The question is asking us to write a function that represents the total number of words ( y ) that Mrs. Garcia can type in x minutes. Then we have to calculate how many words she can type in 49 minutes. In 1 minute she can type 70 words, in 2 minutes 140 etc. Answer: the function is: y = 70 * x. In 49 minutes ( x = 49 ) : y = 49 * 70 = 3,430. In 49 minutes she would type 3,430 words. </span>

By selling a radio for $8400 a dealer gained 12% .how much money did she gain
Mkey [24]

See, in these type of questions always first assume your original price to be x. And now try to write whatever information is given to you.

Now, you have that it has been sold for 12% profit, so basically it is sold at. (1 + (12/100))x = 1.12x

Now it is given that if it had been sold for 33₹ more. I.e. if it had been sold at. 1.12x + 33

Net gain would have been 14%.

So gain of 14%, means the cost to be (1+(14/100))x = 1.14x

And basically both 1.12x +33 and 1.14x are final costs, so

1.14x = 1.12x + 3

=> 1.14x - 1.12x = 3

=> 0.02x = 3

=> x = 3÷0.02

=> x= 1650₹

So original cost is 1650₹.

Hope you understand the solution and the way to tackle these type of problems if not then let me know.

hope it helps
