The United States placed thousands of Japanese Americans into internment camps because they were seen as public enemies, or suspected spies. Japanese Americans faced intense discrimination after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, and most returned from internment camps to find their homes vandalised.
Cultural diffusion is the spread of cultural beliefs and social activities from one group of people to another. Through cultural diffusion, horizons are broadened and people become more culturally rich.
