Adding 2 outside of the third root of x, y=\sqrt[3]{x}+2, will shift the regular y=third root of x graph up 2 units.

Answer: #3

Now if the "+2" is inside the third root, y=\sqrt[3]{x+2}, then this will shift the graph left 2 units and the answer would be #2.

It's unclear from the picture if the "+2" is inside or outside the radical.

Three tennis balls are packaged in a box. The box is 12.1 cm long, 3.5 cm wide, and 3.5 cm tall. Each ball is 3.3 cm in diameter
valkas [14]

Answer:

134 cm^3 empty space

Step-by-step explanation:

The box has a total volume of (12.1)(3.5)(3.5) = 191 cm^3

Each ball has a volume of (4/3)πr³

The ball's diameter is 3.3 cm, so it's radius is (3.3/2) or 1.65 cm

(4/3)(3.14)(1.65)³ = 18.8 cm^3

There are 3 balls, so they occupy 3*18.8 or 56.4 cm^3

Box volume - volume of 3 balls

191 cm^3    -   56.4 cm^3 = 134 cm^3

134 cm^3 is empty space in the box.

B:
The difference between the starting point and the ending point is 10.8 on the on the x-axis. The points are related because they share the same position on the y-axis and is placed on the opposite side of the x-axis.
