Answer:

If a tolerable upper intake level (ul) has been established, it must appear on the label of a vitamin supplement.
Mumz [18]

The label of a vitamin supplement must state the existence of a tolerated upper intake level (UL) if one has been developed. The assertion is true.

Is it mandatory to give a tolerable upper intake level(UL) of vitamins?

  • Tolerable upper intake level(UL) is the highest amount of a nutrient that is chronically consumed each day (from all sources) and is deemed unlikely to have a negative impact on human health.
  • In this sense, "tolerable intake" refers to what is physiologically safe. It is a scientific evaluation based on risk assessment, i.e., the likelihood that an unfavorable impact would manifest at a certain amount of exposure.
  • For different demographic life stage groupings, ULs may be generated. It is not advisable to consume more than the UL. It is a projection of the maximal consumption amount with a negligible chance of adverse health consequences.
  • A risk assessment is necessary to ascertain the percentage of the population (if any) whose consumption exceeds the UL as well as the extent and frequency of the high consumption in order to evaluate if an affected community is in danger.

Therefore it is concluded that the questioned statement is true.

A LOT OF POINTS!!! Why does society places such an emphasis on the value of physical health and wellness? What are the benefits
lubasha [3.4K]

Hiya there!

Well, for one, corporate greed. In the media, like TV, movies, artists, etc., are usually very physically attractive in most people's opinion. This can lead to pressure on the rest of society to live up to the extremely high standards, as well as many self-depreciating thoughts about how oneself isn't good enough. Actually, this has been happening for hundreds, if not thousands of years! Distribution of magazines and books have put forth what one must attain. I've attached a picture of a corset ad from circa 1850.

In ancient cultures, like Sparta, being physically active and fit was necessary to fit into society, especially for men (which grew up to be strong, noble soldiers). A huge emphasis on being the greatest was placed on everyone.

But, being attractive and being fit are two different things. Having an active lifestyle can improve your life in countless ways, from improving your mood to lowering your risk of obtaining certain diseases.
