Stress comes in diverse ways for plants and they are being controlled in different ways ranging from the possession of cell wall that gives rigidity which helps to cope during wind or whirl wind and also helps to maintain it shapes, also water storage vacuole helps the plants to store water for long and helps to fight drought when there is no water for usage. Furthermore,  the cell wall helps against mechanical attack or physical attack, the possession of thick bark helps not to lose water easily especially to plants in dry environment or high temperature environment that allows for high transpiration.
