Area of the triangle =[6 x (6√3) /2 ] / 2 ===>9√3=15.588

Area of each sector : (π/6). r² = π/6 x  9===.>4.712
And for the 3 sectors 3 x 4.712 =14.137
The shaded area is

15.588 - 14.137= 1.451

For f(x) = 2x+1 and g(x) = 3x-7, find (f-g)(x)
marissa [1.9K]

Answer:

(f - g)(x) = -x + 8

General Formulas and Concepts:

  • Order of Operations: BPEMDAS

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Define

f(x) = 2x + 1

g(x) = 3x - 7

(f - g)(x) = f(x) - g(x)

Step 2: Simplify

  1. Set up:                              (f - g)(x) = (2x + 1) - (3x - 7)
  2. Distribute -1:                     (f - g)(x) = 2x + 1 - 3x + 7
  3. Combine like terms:        (f - g)(x) = -x + 8

Which of the following is the area of the special trapezoid if AC = 8, BD = 12, and the height is 8? 40 units 2 800 units 2 400
jenyasd209 [6]

Answer:

80 units

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of a trapezoid is 1/2(B1xB2) times h. 8+12 is 20, divided by 1/2 is 10, and 10 times 8 is 80.

Hope this helped!❤

Some fireworks are fired vertically into the air from the ground at an initial velocity of 24.5 meters per second. Find the high
krek1111 [17]

Answer:

The highest point reached by the firework is approximately 30.6 meters

Step-by-step explanation:

The upward velocity of the fireworks is given as 24.5 m/s

The equation of projectile motion for an object fired vertically upwards can be written as follows;

v² = u² - 2·g·s

Where;

v = The final velocity of the motion = 0 m/s at maximum height

u = The final velocity of the motion =  24.5 m/s

g = Acceleration due to gravity = 9.81 m/s²

s = The height reached = (The highest point reached by the firework)

By substituting the values, we have;

(0 m/s)² = (24.5 m/s)² - 2 × 9.81 m/s² × s

Which gives;

2 × 9.81 m/s² × s = (24.5 m/s)² = 600.25 m²/s²

19.62 m/s² × s = 600.25 m²/s²

s = 600.25 m²/s²/(19.62 m/s²) = 30.594 m ≈ 30.6 meters

The highest point reached by the firework is approximately 30.6 meters

Find X and show steps if possible please;)
LuckyWell [14K]
Alright

so the first thing you do is set up your equation

it should look something like this:

90=3x+10

next, you subtract 10 from each side resulting in 80

3x=80

divide 80 by three and you should get 26.67 or rounding either 26 or 27

then round up or down... according to the instructions.....

hope I could help! :)) XD
