During World War I, the Russian army was
Leno4ka [110]

Answer:

pretty sure it was large, whether or not it was ill prepared to fight is up for debate. It's been a few years since I revised this, but I'm pretty sure that during the Schleiffen plan the German army relied on the Russians being too slow to defend themselves, however they were quicker than expected? due to this and the sheer size of the army itself I would say d, large and well prepared to fight. They were large enough that even if they were awful in combat they would still be a force to be reckoned with, as they could afford to supply men after men without running out, unlike the German army.

IRISSAK [1]

Answer: granted pensions to the elderly.

The Tennessee Valley Authority did not accomplish the objectives of granting a pension to the elderly

Explanation: The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is a federally owned corporation in the United States created by congressional charter on May 18, 1933, to provide navigation, flood control, electricity generation, fertilizer manufacturing, and economic development to the Tennessee Valley, a region particularly affected by the Great Depression.

TVA was envisioned not only as a provider but also as a regional economic development agency that would use federal experts and rural electrification to help modernize the rural region's economy and society.

GIVING BRAINLIEST PLEASE HELP!!
trapecia [35]

Answer:

Since the end of the nineteenth century, it had been clear that the resource-rich and rapidly industrializing United States was the world's rising superpower, but the US was reluctant to adopt this mantle. This was rooted in history: the country took to heart George Washington's advice in his Farewell Address that it steer clear of involvement in European politics and conflicts.

The US did enter belatedly into World War I, but after that war, it retreated back into isolationism, stunningly refusing to enter the League of Nations, despite this organization being close to the heart of President Woodrow Wilson. The US was equally reluctant to join in World War II (though FDR knew this was inevitable) until the country was directly attacked at Pearl Harbor.

After the War ended in 1945, however, the US finally fully accepted its role as a world leader. This was an enormous change in its orientation to international politics. The US was at the forefront in establishing the UN, headquartering...

Hope this is Correct.
