It is not enough to describe the oppostite rays only with the statement that they have the same endpoint. Besides the same endpoint opposite rays are characterized with opposite drection.
So, the student should answer: VW and VZ are opposite rays because they have the same endpoint and the the opposite direction.

Reduce the fractions using the greatest common factor 7 over 12
Airida [17]

Answer:

7/12 cannot be reduced

Step-by-step explanation:

7 = 7

12 = 2 * 2 * 3

7 and 12 have no common factors other than 1, so the fraction 7/12 cannot be reduced. 7/12 is already written in lowest terms.

Two small planes leave Sacramento and LA, which are 380 miles apart, and travel toward each other. If one plane travels 30 miles
Anettt [7]
The sum of their speeds is 380 miles per hour. The difference of their speeds is 30 miles per hour. Then the faster plane is traveling at
.. (380 +30)/2 = 205 miles per hour

The slower plane's speed is 30 miles per hour less, so it is traveling at
.. 205 mph -30 mph = 175 miles per hour
