Answer:

A powerful computer is purchased for $2000,

but on the average loses 20% of its value each

year. How much will it be worth 4 years from

now?

The equation to use is:

y = abx . The initial

value

a = 2000 . In this case the value is

decreasing so multiplier b is always found by

subtracting the percent decrease from the

number "one," so

b = 1! 0.2 = 0.8 . The time

is

x = 4 . Substituting into the equation and

using a calculator for the calculations:

y = abx

= 2000(0.8)

4

= 819.2 . In four years

the computer will only be worth $819.20.

Delicious77 [7]

Answer:

The formula of the volume of a cylinder is known as follow

V= πr²h

Where

π is 3,14 or 22/7.

d (diameter) is a straight line segment that crosses a center and connects two points on the circle.

r is the radius of the to part of the cylinder.

h is the height.

we can subsitute to our formula knowing that

d = 4cm (turn to r = 2cm,because the formula use r) ; h = 11cm

V = πr²h

= 3,14 × 2² × 11

= 3,14 × 4 × 11

= 3,14 × 44

= 138,16 rounded off (138,2cm3) result

It's a reflection across the y axis because They are both still equal(all sides are equal) but flipped around. Also, if you calculate, all the midpoints of corresponding points are on the y axis, which shows that it is a reflection over the y axis and nothing more.

It could also be reflect across the x axis, then the y axis, then the x axis again because the reflections across the x axis cancel out with each other. So it is basically is a reflection across the y axis.

Choice 4 because when you rotate it by 180 it lands in the third quadrant exactly one reflection away. When you reflect it across the x axis, it becomes the desired triangle.

Choices 1 and 2 and 4.
