Why does a hot air balloon rise?
alina1380 [7]

Answer: Hot air is less dense than cool air; the heated air causes the balloon to rise simply because it is lighter than an equal volume of cold air. Buoyancy is an upward force that the air exerts, and it helps hot-air balloons and blimps stay in the air. A hot air balloon uses a burner to heat up the air inside the balloon.

Hope this helps!!! Good luck!!! ;)

Explain the air masses from the North Pole to the equator
iris [78.8K]

Answer:

When a warmer air mass travels over colder ground, the bottom layer of air cools and, because of its high density, is trapped near the ground. In general, cold air masses tend to flow toward the equator and warm air masses tend to flow toward the poles. This brings heat to cold areas and cools down areas that are warm
