Mathematics

Tìm giá trị của x :

  • {x}^{2}  + x  -  6 = 0

  • x {}^{2}  + 3x - 2x  - 6 = 0

  • x(x + 3) - 2(x + 3) = 0

  • (x + 3)(x - 2) = 0

Bây giờ, có hai trường hợp :

Trường hợp 1. khi nào x + 3 = 0

  • x = -3

Trường hợp 2. khi nào x - 2 = 0

  • x = 2

Tôi hy vọng nó đã giúp !

avanturin [10]

Answer:

\beta  = 28.610

Step-by-step explanation:

in this case we have a right angled triangle, whenever you see this triangle think of the TRIG RATIOS * sin, cos & tan* but if it was another triangle besides right angled triangle you use SINE RULE OR COSINE RULE

SOLUTION

\tan( \beta )  =  \frac{opposite}{adjecent}  \\  \tan( \beta )  =  \frac{6}{11}  \\  \beta  =  tan(inverse)( \frac{6}{11} ) \\  \beta  = 28.61045

Please explain each step 5x-7=7x-17
EleoNora [17]
Let's get the same terms on the same side.
I am going to remove 5x from both sides of the equation by subtracting 5x

5x - 5x<span> -7 = 7x -</span>5x<span> - 17</span>
           -7 = 2x - 17   now lets remove the 17 from both sides
       -7 + 17 = 2x     (why do we add 17?  Think of 2x -17 as 2x +  -17.  Tor remove a negative number we add it.
Now we finally have     10=2x and if we divide both sides by 2

<u>10</u><span>  = </span><u>2x</u><u>
</u>2       2    we get that x = 5
<u />Let's check by substituting 5 in the original equation:
5(5) - 7 = 7(5) - 17
25 - 7 = 35 - 17
<span>18      =       18</span>

<u>Answer:</u>

  • The expression that represents the total number of raffle tickets sold by Trudy and Shaun is 3x/2 + 3.

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

<em>Let's represent Shaun for S and Trudy for T.</em>

<u>We know that:</u>

  • => S = x tickets sold
  • => T = x/2 + 3

<em>The question is asking for the total number of raffle tickets Shaun and Trudy have sold altogether. Let's add both the sellers.</em>

  • S + T = x + x/2 + 3
  • => S + T = 2x/2 + x/2 + 3
  • => S + T = 3x/2 + 3

Hence, <u>the expression that represents the total number of raffle tickets sold by Trudy and Shaun is </u><u>3x/2 + 3.</u>

Hoped this helped.
