Answer:

This really depends on your writing skill and grade level but I'll give you n answer that would be fine for my age group. (I have a couple of typos by the way)

Explanation:

Dear Grandmother,

The pandemic has been really harsh, and I really hate online classes in perticluar. Firstly, my WIFI connection often disconnects and I have to log off my desktop often. Secondly, my teacher is unable to explain the meterial as well as he/she would be able to if we were in person. However, it is great that we are able to stay safe and learn. I also am glad that I am able to take part in study groups online to help me whenever I am confused. I hope you can get back to me.

- Lots of love, Sara/Sid

Ow does Geijer’s comment support MacGregor’s point?
Mrrafil [7]

Geijer’s comment supports MacGregor’s point because:

 • It illustrates the popularity of tea in Britain during the 1800s.

What is the main point of the text?

The passage highlighted the importance of tea to the British people in the 1800s and the beginning of the 1900s.

The figures that were portrayed in the passage support the point that tea consumption now marked the lives of the Britons. So, option C is right.

As it got cheaper, tea also spread rapidly to the working classes. By 1800, as foreigners remarked, it was the new national drink. By 1900 the average tea consumption per person in Britain was a staggering 6 lbs (3 kilograms) a year. In 1809 the Swede Erik Gustav Geijer commented:

Next to water, tea is the Englishman's proper element. All classes consume it . . . in the morning one may see in many places small tables set up under the open sky, around which coal-carters and workmen empty their cups of delicious beverage.

Harlamova29_29 [7]

Answer:

The grouping of lines into organizational units in poetry is known as a stanza. Some poetic forms, such as the couplet, are identified by how many lines constitute a stanza.

Explanation:

As with narrative, there are "elements" of poetry that we can focus on to enrich our understanding of a particular poem or group of poems. These elements may include, voice, diction, imagery, figures of speech, symbolism and allegory, syntax, sound, rhythm and meter, and structure.

Identify the point of view in this paragraph: The dew on the grass made
Artemon [7]

I've looked this question up online. The options are simply:

a. First Person

b. Second Person

c. Third Person

Answer:

The point of view in this paragraph is:

a. First person.

Explanation:

The narrator of the excerpt is telling the story from a first-person point of view. The easiest way to confirm that is by taking a look at the pronouns used:

The dew on the grass made my running shoes damp. It didn't bother me. The sound of my feet hitting the street formed a rhythm, a steady pattern of light thumps. I timed my breathing with the rhythm.

First-person narrators use first-person pronouns such as "I" and "me". This type of narrator gives us his/her own perspective on things. That means we accompany this narrator throughout the story, see things from his perspective, and only get to know what he knows. One advantage of first-person point of view is that we get to dive deeper into the narrator's feelings and thoughts. One disadvantage is that he is a biased narrator, which makes him untrustworthy.
