Use the points and do y2-y1 divided by x2-x1
You will get -2 which is the m (slope)
Substitute one of the points into the y and x to get the b (y-intercept)
You will get -6
Put everything into the equation
y=-2x-6
Y=3x2 3x(0.5)=1.5+2=3.5 Y=3.5
3(0.5)X2 1.5X2=3 Y=3
1.5/2=0.75 Y=0.75
1.5-2=-0.5 Y= -0.5
