The answer is B, the sugar moves through the phloem.

Plant has 2 main vessels, xylem and phloem. Xylem is used to move water and mineral ions from the root where it absorbed to the leaves, meanwhile the phloem moves the sugar or food from the region of production, which is usually the leaves, to the places that needed or used for storage.

So since the leaves produces sugar, and peas needed the sugar, so we know that the answer should be phloem.

Meanwhile, stomata is used to release oxygen and water vapor, which are the by products of photosynthesis, and vacuoles are just mainly water substances that exist in most plant cells.

Vedmedyk [2.9K]
Glucose is virtually the sole fuel for the human brain, except during prolonged starvation. The brain lacks fuel stores, thus requires a continuous supply of glucose. It consumes about 120 g daily which corresponds to an energy input of 420 kcal (1760 KJ), accounting for some 60% of the utilization of glucose by the whole body in the resting state.
