You go shopping with your friends and buy a shirt for $10.50 how much tax do you have to pay?

It depends on how much the tax is. You take however much tax it is, and make that number and turn it into a decimal, move it two to the right, and multiply your tax by $10.50. But you DON'T do anything to the $10.50.

Hoped this helped. :)

The population of an endangered bird was about 230,000 in 2001. The equation y= 200,000(0.75)^x describes the bird la population
mart [117]

Answer:

634

Step-by-step explanation:

The population of the birds in 2001 = 230000

From 2001 to 2021 = 20 years

Given:

y = 200000(0.75)^{x}

where x is the number of years since 2001.

The population of the birds after 20 can be determined by;

y = 200000(0.75)^{20}

  = 200000(3.171211939 x 10^{-3})

  = 634.2424

y = 634

Thus, there would be 634 endangered birds in 2021.

Which side lengths form a right triangle?
blagie [28]

Answer:

Options A and B are applicable.

Step-by-step explanation:

The lengths of the sides of a right triangle obey the Pythagoras Theorem that says (Perpendicular)² + (Base)² = (Hypotenuse)².

Now, in option A, the side lengths are 11, 13, and √(290).

So, those lengths form a right triangle as 11² + 13² = {√(290)}².

Again, in option B, the given side lengths are 7, 24, and 25.

So, those lengths form a right triangle as 7² + 24² = 25².

Finally, in option C, the given side lengths are 2, 5, and 7.

But, those lengths do not form a right triangle as 2² + 5² ≠ 7².

Therefore, options A and B are applicable. (Answer)
