The device used to compare to the human lungs is " balloon ". It works once it is filled with air, can be oxygen or helium it would expand just as how diaphragm works in human lungs. And while removing the amount of air, it's the same process that goes along with the human lungs.

1. Lungs can be compared to balloons and the bronchioles as Y- tube. When the air is blown through the Y-tube, the balloons expands. This shows that the lungs (balloons) expand during inhalation.

2. Lungs can be featured as the " heart " of a living body. Uses of lungs are innumerable.

• Lungs help in increasing oxygen content in our body, which is necessary for our existence.
