We write the expressions first mathematically:
 three divided by one-fifth:
 (3) / (1/5)
 one-fifth divided by three:
 (1/5) / (3)
 We now use the double c method to find the results:
 (3) / (1/5) = (3 * 5) / (1 * 1) = 15/1 = 15
 (1/5) / (3) = (1 * 1) / (5 * 3) = 1/15 = 0.066666667
 The difference between the two is:
 15-0.066666667 = 14.93333333
 Answer
 They are different because they are inverse expressions.

ioda
The 12 sided cube with the numbers 1 to 12 is rolled. That means it can land on any number from 1 to 12. The number of total possible outcomes is 12. The number of favourable outcomes, that is, the number of times the cube lands on a number than 4 is 12-1=11.
Probability=Number of favourable outcomes/number of total possible outcomes
= 11/12
= 0.92

ivanzaharov [21]

<u>ANSWER:</u>

Kari bought 3 boxes of cookies to share. The algebraic expression is \frac{36}{x}

<u>Solution:</u>

Given, Kari bought 3 boxes of cookies to share with a book club.

Each box contains 12 cookies.

So, in total we have 3 x 12 cookies = 36 cookies.

Now, we have to find how many cookies can each person p will get.

Let, the total number of persons be x.

Then, after equally sharing the cookies,

\text { Number of cookies with each person }=\frac{\text {number } of \text { cookies available.}}{\text {total number of persons}}

=\frac{36}{x} \text { cookies. }

Hence, the algebraic expression is \frac{36}{x}
