natita [175]

Answer:

Hope below explanations are enough.

Explanation:

1. JPEG (or JPG) - Joint Photographic Experts Group

JPEGs might be the most common file type you run across on the web, and more than likely the kind of image that is in your company's MS Word version of its letterhead. JPEGs are known for their "lossy" compression, meaning that the quality of the image decreases as the file size decreases.

You can use JPEGs for projects on the web, in Microsoft Office documents, or for projects that require printing at a high resolution. Paying attention to the resolution and file size with JPEGs is essential in order to produce a nice looking project.

2. PNG - Portable Network Graphics

PNGs are amazing for interactive documents such as web pages, but are not suitable for print. While PNGs are "lossless," meaning you can edit them and not lose quality, they are still low resolution.

The reason PNGs are used in most web projects is that you can save your image with more colors on a transparent background. This makes for a much sharper, web-quality image.

3. GIF - Graphics Interchange Format

GIFs are most common in their animated form, which are all the rage on Tumblr pages and in banner ads. It seems like every other day we have a new Grumpy Cat or Honey Boo Boo animated GIF. In their more basic form, GIFs are formed from up to 256 colors in the RGB colorspace. Due to the limited number of colors, the file size is drastically reduced.

This is a common file type for web projects where an image needs to load very quickly, as opposed to one that needs to retain a higher level of quality.

4. TIFF - Tagged Image File

A TIF is a large raster file that doesn't lose quality. This file type is known for using "lossless compression," meaning the original image data is maintained regardless of how often you might copy, re-save, or compress the original file.

Despite TIFF images' ability to recover their quality after manipulation, you should avoid using this file type on the web -- it can take forever to load. TIFF files are also commonly used when saving photographs for print.

5. PSD - Photoshop Document

PSDs are files that are created and saved in Adobe Photoshop, the most popular graphics editing software ever. This type of file contains "layers" that make modifying the image much easier to handle. This is also the program that generates the raster file types mentioned above.

The largest disadvantage to PSDs is that Photoshop works with raster images as opposed to vector images.

In JAVA, answer the following:
erica [24]

Answer:

The JAVA program is as follows.

import java.util.Scanner;

public class Program

{

   static int n;

public static void main(String[] args) {

    //scanner object

    Scanner stdin = new Scanner(System.in);

    //loop executes till number entered is in the range of 1 to 10

    do

    {

        System.out.print("Enter any number: ");

        n = stdin.nextInt();

    }while(n<1 || n>10);

    System.out.println("Number is valid. Exiting...");

}

}

OUTPUT

Enter any number: 0

Enter any number: 23

Enter any number: 10

Number is valid. Exiting...

Explanation:

The program is explained.

1. The integer variable, n, is declared static since the variable should be accessible inside main() which is static.

2. An object of Scanner, stdin, is created inside main().

3. Inside do-while loop, the user is asked input any value for n.

4. The loop continues till user inputs a number which is not in the given range, beginning from 1 to 10.

5. The loop will not be terminated till the user enters a valid input.

6. Once a valid input is entered, the message is displayed to the console and the program ends.

7. The variable, n, is declared at the class level and is a class variable. Class variables are declared inside the class but outside all the methods in that class.

8. Since JAVA is a purely object-oriented language, all the code is written inside class.

9. The object of class is not created since only one class is included in the program. If more than one class is included, then the object of the class which does not has the main() method will be created inside main().

10. User input for integer is taken via scanner object and using nextInt() method.

11. The methods, print() and println() display the messages to the console. The only difference is that println() inserts a new line after displaying the message.

12. The name of the class having main() and the name of the program should be the same.

The performance of a client-server system is strongly influenced by two major network characteristics: the bandwidth of the netw
Rama09 [41]

Answer:

A bandwidth is the maximum rate of transfer of data across a given path

Latency refers to the delay of data to travel or move between a source and destination

An example of a high bandwidth and high latency network is the Satellite Internet connectivity.

An example of a low bandwidth and latency network is the telephone system connection.

Explanation:

Solution

Bandwidth: Bandwidth determines how fast data can be transferred for example, how many bits/sec it can transport.

Latency: It refers to the delay or how long it takes for data to travel between it's source and destination.

An example of a high bandwidth and high latency network is the Satellite internet connection.

Satellite internet connection: This is responsible for the connectivity of several systems, it has a high bandwidth, since satellite are in space, due to distance it has a high latency.

So, satellite internet connection is compensated with high latency and high bandwidth.

An example of a low bandwidth and low latency network is the Telephony network.

Telephone/telephony internet connection: This connection does not have much data for transfer. it has low size audio files of which a low bandwidth range. also for both end or end users to understand and talk to each other, it has low latency.
