sub x=1, a(1)^2 +b(1) + c=0,

a+b+c=0______eqn 1

sub x=-1, a(-1)^2+b(-1)+c=2

a-b+c=2_______eqn 2

sub x=2, a(2)^2+b(2)+c=8

4a+2b+c=8______eqn 3

from eqn 1

c=-a-b

eqn2

a-b-a-b=2

-2b=2

b=-1

eqn3

4a + 2b -a-b=8

3a+b=8

3a+(-1)=8

3a-1=8

3a=9

a=3

c=-a-b

c=-3--1

c=-2

$4 more each time. You can tell that Raphael is growing at a rate of 6 every week (40 to 46 to 52 to 58) and Jessica is Growing at $10 each week because it is what is in front of the x. Raphael's formula would look like y=6x+40 because they started at 40 and grew by 6 every week.

HELP!! ⚠️ In the diagram below, the two vertical segments are parallel. What is the total number of degrees in angles a, b, c, d
hodyreva [135]

Answer:

360°

Step-by-step explanation:

According to the properties of parallel lines, the following deductions can be made:

<a and <c are exterior angles of same side, therefore they are supplementary.

Thus,

m<a + m<c = 180°

<b and <d, are alternate interior angles, therefore, they are supplementary.

Thus, m<b + m<d = 180°.

The total numbers of degrees of a, b, c, d will all sum up to give 360°.
