Answer:

Now we'll divide the total number of cells in each stage by the total number of cells counted, and multiply by 100 to get the percentage of cells in each stage. We get 69.6 % cells in interphase, 12.5% in prophase, 8.9% in metaphase, 5.4% in anaphase, and 3.6% in telophase.

What organelle does “Pompe Disease” affect in the cell, and how does this disease affect someone’s life?
lana [24]
Pompe is a disease in which u have a defect in the lysosome (an organelle found in every eukaryotic cell). The gene should be making a certain enzyme but it doesn't. This causes things to build up in cells that shouldn't be there. This type if disease is progressive and can be fatal. The treatment for this disease is very expensive. A person would need enzyme replacement therapy...which is not cheap. It will drastically affect a person's life. One can have progressive muscle weakness (where they require a walker or wheel chair), respiratory problems (where a breathing tube might be needed) , and heart defects.
