1. Each if them would get 20 fruits

23 + 37 = 60

60 \div 3 = 20

2. There should be 5 rows of tables needed to sit all the invited guests

On every row there would be 26 people, so then we need to divide 130 by 26 and we get 5. Then if we check, 26 times 5 equals 130.

<em>Hope that helped:)</em>

What is true about the completely simplified sum of the polynomials 3x^2y^2-2xy^5 and -3x^2y^2 + 3x^2y^2 + 3x^4y?
WINSTONCH [101]

Given:

The polynomials are:

3x^2y^2-2xy^5

-3x^2y^2+3x^2y^2+3x^4y

To find:

The completely simplified sum of the polynomials.

Solution:

We have,

3x^2y^2-2xy^5

-3x^2y^2+3x^2y^2+3x^4y

The sum of given polynomials is:

Sum=3x^2y^2-2xy^5-3x^2y^2+3x^2y^2+3x^4y

Sum=-2xy^5+3x^4y+3x^2y^2

Therefore, the sum of the given polynomials is -2xy^5+3x^4y+3x^2y^2. It is a polynomial with degree 6 and leading coefficient -2.

For fun question
ZanzabumX [31]
Consider the function f(x)=x^{1/3}, which has derivative f'(x)=\dfrac13x^{-2/3}.

The linear approximation of f(x) for some value x within a neighborhood of x=c is given by

f(x)\approx f'(c)(x-c)+f(c)

Let c=64. Then (63.97)^{1/3} can be estimated to be

f(63.97)\approxf'(64)(63.97-64)+f(64)
\sqrt[3]{63.97}\approx4-\dfrac{0.03}{48}=3.999375

Since f'(x)>0 for x>0, it follows that f(x) must be strictly increasing over that part of its domain, which means the linear approximation lies strictly above the function f(x). This means the estimated value is an overestimation.

Indeed, the actual value is closer to the number 3.999374902...

Combine Like Terms: x^2 + y^2 + 3y^2 + 4x + 2x + 2 + 2
Serga [27]

Answer:

x^2 + 4y^2 + 6x + 4

Step-by-step explanation:

Arranging the terms;

x ^ 2 + y^2 + 3y^2 + 4x + 2x + 2 + 2

x^2 + 4y^2 + 4x + 2x + 2 + 2

x^2 + 4y^2 + 6x + 2 + 2

x^2 + 4y^2 + 6x + 4

Who knows how to do this Bc I don’t understand
Fynjy0 [20]

Answer:

WV should be equal to XY

Step-by-step explanation:

since it is the HL postulate meaning hypotenuse and leg, we need to show that the hypotenuses of both triangles are equal since we are already given that one of their legs are congruent. we are also given that they are right triangles.
