Step-by-step explanation:

I think what the other answer tries to tell you :

find a small square number (4 or 9) that is a factor of the total number we try to pull the square root from.

that is what lead to the first step by finding that 96 = 24×4

now we repeat this again on our way to the second step, as 4 is a factor of 24 too : 24 = 6×4.

for 6 we cannot find any useful square number as a factor (besides 1, but that does not help). so, the process ends there and we get

sqrt(6)×sqrt(4)×sqrt(4) = sqrt(6)×2×2 = 4×sqrt(6)

Answer:

Square 4 to get 2 and \sqrt{24}. The \sqrt{24} can be squared to \sqrt{4} and \sqrt{6}. The 4 can be squared to 2, as well. So you would have to multiply 2 by 2 to get 4\sqrt{6}.

Answer:

The answer to your question is  letter C. 7y³  + 7n²y²  - 22y²

Step-by-step explanation:

                                   y²(4y + 7n² + 2) - 3y² (-y + 8)

Multiply

                                 4y³ + 7n²y² + 2y² + 3y³ - 24y²

Use the associative property for like terms

                               (4y³ + 3y³) + (2y² - 24y²) + 7n²y²

Simplify like terms

                                7y³ - 22y² + 7n²y²   or    7y³  + 7n²y²  - 22y²

Work out the area of the lawn.
s2008m [1.1K]
Area of Flower Bed:
(b*h)/2
(3*8)/2 = 12m^2

Area of Vegetable Patch:
((b1 + b2)*h)/2
((5+7)*10)/2 = 60m^2

Area of Whole Garden:
l*w
14*10 = 140m^2

Whole Garden - Vegetable Patch - Flower Bed = Lawn
140 - 60 - 12 = 68m^2

Area of Lawn: 68m^2

Hope this helps.
