Answer: 18.92 trillion kilometers

Explanation:

One light year is the distance traveled at the speed of light in one year.

Speed of light in vacuum = 3\times 10^8m/s

Thus distance traveled by light in one year = 3\times 10^8\times 60\times 60\times 24\times 365=9.46\times 10^15m

Hence, distance traveled in two years =2\times 9.46\times 10^15=1.89\times 10^{16}m=18.92\times 10^{12}km=18.92 trillionkm

(1km=1000m)  (1trillion=10^{12})

Who is most at risk of spinal cord injury because of preexisting degenerative disorders?
miskamm [114]

Elderly people are most at risk from minor trauma that results in serious spinal cord injury because of preexisting degenerative vertebral disorders. Males are more prone to spinal cord injuries than females but not as a result of preexisting disorder. This may be related to an increased involvement in contact sports or a propensity to participate in high risk activities. Neither females nor infants are at any particular risk for spinal cord injuries.

The second stage of the calvin cycle needs an input of energy to reduce the 3pg molecules that resulted from the first stage. wh
Colt1911 [192]
<h3><u>Answer;</u></h3>

ATP and NADPH that were supplied through the light reactions

<h3><u>Explanation</u>;</h3>
  • <em><u>Calvin cycle reaction is the portion of photosynthesis that takes place in the stroma of chloroplasts and can occur in the dark; it uses the products of the light reactions to reduce CO2 to a carbohydrate.</u></em>
  • The Calvin cycle is divided into three portions: CO2 fixation, CO2 reduction, and regeneration of RuBP. Because five G3P are needed to re-form three RuBP, it takes three turns of the cycle to have a net gain of one G3P. Two G3P molecules are needed to form glucose.
